Charming, spacious, convenient California bungalow

Charming, bright & spacious home. This inner-West single-story house is in a great location, close to transport and Iron Cove Bay. New kitchen, open plan lounge/dining opens to sunny verandah, private garden. Large TV with Netflix. Short walk to local cafes, Saturday farmers' market, Callan Park, swimming pool & gym, buses to UTS/Syd Uni/CBD, & light rail to Convention, Chinatown, Darling Harbour & city (15- 20 mins ride). Close to Norton St restaurants, Palace cinema. Our home flows from indoors to outdoors, with full opening folding doors between the large open plan kitchen, lounge / dining. Our kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, appliances and essential ingredients for Asian, Middle-Eastern and European cuisines. The covered back verandah is furnished with dining setting and cane lounge suite. The gas BBQ is an easy cooking option. The view of neighbourhood trees over the perimeter hedge in our back garden gives the feeling of living in the countryside. The sun shines in from the north in winter, while the roof shades it in summer. A great place to hang out and relax between outings. Guests will have the run of the whole house (apart from one locked room) - the living spaces, and 2 double bedrooms, and one single bedroom. We will be out of Sydney when you are staying in our home. We will be contactable online or by phone, and able to answer any questions or solve any issues. Our treelined street, with so many California bungalows, is part of a heritage conservation landscape zone. We are less than 1/2 km from 4 cafes, 2 in particular - Local Press and Pane e Cipolla, at Orange Grove Plaza serve excellent coffee, breakfasts and lunches 7 days a week. The Saturday farmers markets at Orange Grove School have dozens of stalls, with fresh organic produce, flower stalls, pre-prepared meals, gourmet products, arts and crafts, plus pony rides for children and more. Getting into and around the city is easy. The Leichhardt North Light Rail stop is 400m away and trams run mostly 4 - 8 times an hour through Pyrmont and Ultimo to Central Station. Buses from the top of the street run to Norton St restaurants, cinemas and shops (5 mins ride) the city and direct to Bondi Junction in one direction, and in the other direction to Balmain and Darling St wharf where you can catch a ferry to the city (slower but very pretty). You can park one car in our driveway. Parking in the street is mostly unlimited. We have heaps of AirBnB experience, as we have stayed in many places around the world and in Australia. We know what makes an AirBnB stay smooth and comfortable for us, and have thought about that in the way we prepare our home for you. It is possible that at times aircraft fly over our house, but only outside of airport curfew times which are 10pm to 6am. Most days incoming flights approach from the sea, but in some weather conditions they approach the airport over our house. A couple of our guests have noticed this, but it has not spoiled their stay.
