Cottage on North Devon Coastal Path in Lee Bay

Perfectly positioned bungalow on coastal path in picturesque Lee Bay, Nr. Ilfracombe, North Devon, England. 3 mins walk down to the Bay & Beach & 7 mins uphill climb back - beware it’s steep! Greystones is a 4 bed cottage (ideal for UP TO 6 ADULTS and 2 children), set at the top of Lee Village, with stunning views looking over Lee from the south facing enclosed garden at the back and then out over the Bristol Channel to Wales from the front. With 3 double beds & 1 bunk bed room all on 1 level - where 1 double bed is situated at the far end of the house - it's ideal for families especially those with grandparents who don't want to be woken up early! The children's bunk bed room is just for children (where for safety the top bunk needs to have child older than 6 in it) so we can accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children We have 1 bathroom (with bath, loo, handbasin, shower cubicle) and a separate cloakroom WC. The whole house and garden Available on phone, text, email for questions Coast/Beach: 5 mins walk down to Lee bay and 10 mins back up a very steep hill! 10 mins drive to Woolacombe 20 mins drive to Putsborough 10 mins drive to Ilfracombe harbour 3-5 mins walk to village pub 3-5 mins walk to cafe on bay (May-Sept) Car definitely needed to get in and out of Lee - but once there you probably won't want to leave! We are blessed with incredible views but that also means it's a very steep climb to get up to the house from the bay and pub at the bottom of the valley. Be warned - it's an endurance walk/climb! There's space for 3 cars And a little word of warning the Devon lanes are just that - lanes - incredibly narrow and tricky to navigate. Patience is a must have getting in and out of Lee! Outside: South facing enclosed garden 40 feet deep by 70 feet wide overlooking Daisy, Derek & Deliah - cows in the next field and down into Lee valley. Garden access is via 6 stone steps which wobbly toddlers will need supervising on Utility Room: Just beside the kitchen the utility includes washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer & microwave Towels and linen included. Cleaning provided before and after stay. Separate dining room, with dining chairs for 4 and bench seat. Outdoor terrace with table, 6 chairs and parasol.
