Daybed doubles as a couch for reading or watching tv. A trundle below provides a second twin bed if needed. Our price reflects that finishing touches are still ongoing. Conveniently located between Keene, Peterborough, and Gardner, MA, we offer a rural location close to a numbered route. Abuts Cheshire Rail Trail, and close to many other local hikes. Mount Monadnock nearby. The apartment is within our old farmhouse. Squeaky floors, the occasional mouse, and other eccentricities are part of the charm. It is a second floor apartment. Although there is no AC, with 8 windows and 2 skylights that open most folks find that a fan usually provides enough air circulation to stay comfortable. Because of proximity to numbered route there is road noise. Our ten acre property boasts a backyard that’s an acre in size. Guests may share what they find there, depending on the season. Lawn games, picnic area, barbecue grill and fire pit are some of the things folks will likely find. We are usually home while guests are here. If not, we’re available by text or phone to answer questions. We also enjoy our space and respect yours. Aside from getting you settled, we’ll leave you to do your own thing. We live in a safe, usually quiet, and relaxed neighborhood. We know and get along with most neighbors within a mile of here. Folks generally wave as they drive by. You’ll need a car to get most places from here. In winter, arriving by snowmobile is also welcomed! We are taking covid 19 very seriously and are practicing social distancing! Similarly minded folks are welcome. Others are encouraged to look elsewhere. We are pretty quiet, and welcome guests of the same nature. Our dogs, on the other hand, seem to enjoy making a ruckus. They settle down pretty quickly, but do take advantage of any new opportunity for noisemaking. Proximity to a numbered route gives us some road noise. Absolutely no drugs, or heavy drinkers / intoxication.
