An ultimate relaxing getaway from the stress of life. Imagine dining on your patio overlooking a bird sanctuary and the ocean. Hear the rhythmic beat of the waves and inhale the fresh air. The house is an idyllic smart house, with a spacious open plan and a bright cheery aspect. All of the modern features can be controlled remotely as you relax gazing over one of the best beaches in Newcastle - Redhead Beach. It is the perfect spot for an evening champagne or red wine. You can prepare a gourmet meal on modern European appliances, or take a short stroll to nearby casual dining. A night in Redhead is quiet and relaxing with only the sounds of waves crashing. Sleep is ensured with spacious bedrooms, ducted aircon, ceiling fans, built in cupboards and comfortable beds. The main bedroom has access to a walk in wardrobe and en-suite. Refresh in either of the modern bathrooms with a deep rejuvenating bath (downstairs) or shower. Enjoy an evening drink listening to your favourite music played through household speakers as your friends or children battle each other at table tennis, darts or produce an artwork on the large chalkboard! Alternatively enjoy the wifi and entertainment provided by appleTV and Netflix as you rest on an inviting soft couch. This house has the perfect modern comforts with plenty of space to relax and unwind. For the business traveller we have excellent wifi and multiple spots suitable for a computer space including a separate study area at the rear of the house which can be ideal for completing a project. The whole house is accessible. This includes three bedrooms, kitchen and open plan dining, loungeroom, study, and large lock up garage of which part of the area is utilised as a recreational space and 2.5 bathrooms. There is a lock up area at the rear of the garage for storage items of the house and is not accessible by guests. There is a small back deck and larger front under cover patio. We do our best to give you, the guest privacy, however we are a short distance away and can be available if needed. We are also avid mountain bikers and would only be too pleased to show people around the trails or local walks and the Fernleigh Track if interested (we love those places!!). Redhead is a small village a short distance from Newcastle and it’s many facilities (20 mins by car). Redhead Beach is a beautiful beach and a favourite amongst Novacastrians famous as a surf and recreational beach with access for dogs and 4WDs in the South. During Summer, Spring and Autumn surf schools are run nearby. Take an evening stroll along the sand as the sunsets and gaze over the crystal ocean. Awabakal National Park is a short walk away with great views from the cliff top with the frequent sighting of small marsupials and the occasional resident echidnas. There is a pretty little coastal walk immediately outside the door which is the habitat for many native birds. Amazing cycling facilities are just a short ride away, including the famous Fernleigh track, Redhead and Glenrock Mountain Bike Park. The Fernleigh track was a coal railway line which has now been converted to a large path which is a favourite with cyclists and pedestrians alike. As it is so well loved the local councils keep extending it!! Quality restaurants are a short drive away, with casual dining available in the village of Redhead, and high ranking restaurants in Newcastle. If shopping is your desire it is a short drive to major shopping centres accomodating most quality stores. Newcastle is a city so most things are within a short distance, if you need anything just let us know and we will point you in the right direction. Newcastle and especially Redhead are the friendliest places. Public buses are available with a bus stop 100m away, and can transport you to nearby shopping suburbs, and Newcastle City. It is of course easier to have a car. Those who are active can get most places in Newcastle with a decent bike (using the Fernleigh Track). The property has room for 2 vehicles in the driveway or a small grass area on other side of lane, both areas are safe and free. A car can also be locked in the garage. Operating the smart house will be detailed when you arrive, however it is intuitive. While Pets are very welcome and greatly loved in Redhead and at the house it is a requirement to inform us of their presence and to clean up after your pets (dog). To maintain high standards of cleanliness we ask for the pets to not to be on the furniture. We reserve the right to claim for any damage incurred.
