Our country home is located in the Byron Bay hinterland, nestled up high among gorgeous macadamia orchards at the foothills of Nightcap National Park. Wake up to stunning views and an amazing sunrise overlooking acres of rolling hills and rainforest, or wander through our beautiful garden - full of roses and exotic flowers. Rosebank View is thriving with butterflies, birds & native animals, and is your perfect oasis for a countryside retreat. Close to Clunes, Bangalow, & world-class waterfalls. As you drive into the privacy of Rosebank View you will immediately start to unwind, with 55 acres to explore and an orchard of macadamia nut trees. The house is situated on top of a hill with amazing sweeping views across the valley, you can even see the milky way on a beautiful clear night! Rosebank and the surrounding areas are a true treasure trove with abundant organic farmers and local markets, exotic food from all over the world, world class beaches and breath taking waterfalls with waterholes just down the road. Explore the cafe & grocery store at Clunes, the markets in Bangalow and culture of Byron Bay. There are many other historical surrounding towns to explore or just take time to unwind in your own private wilderness. The house has four spacious bedrooms with polished wooden floors, and views out to the stunning exotic garden, wooden doors open onto wrap around verandahs and allow you to connect to the outdoors. We have a custom made kitchen which has been hand crafted from local rosewood, granite top benches, double oven, stove top, dishwasher and sweet tasting rainwater to sip on. Enjoy walking onto the large green lawn and allow the children to run around this piece of paradise. Feeling adventurous and enjoy hiking, take a long walk around the property. Taste the sweet richness of the locally grown macadamia nuts or why not buy a gift pack of local produce to take home for your friends? You will have full access to the house and shed where the children can explore. We encourage you to enjoy the green house by planting your own fruit or vegetable seeds, and yes there are lots of pots you can use. There is a track to the creek for the more adventurous, ensure you take a water bottle, hat and sunscreen (be aware of snakes during spring & summer). We can provide a map of the property showing you a couple of ways to discover the boundaries. I am happy to meet guests to explain the property if required. The locals are extremely friendly; everyone is happy to help and show where to explore. Enjoy the personalised service at the Clunes General Store which offers freshly baked bread, organic delicacies, artisan products - a new twist on the old corner store featuring a cafe with the best coffee in the area and cellar full of local wines. Clunes Store & Cellars Open hours 7-7pm daily (8 mins drive). Main supermarkets are available at Lismore and Bangalow (20mins drive). Rosebank and the surrounding areas are a true treasure trove with abundant organic farmers and local markets, world class beaches and breath taking waterfalls. You will require a car to explore the area and to get to our property. We recommend a 4WD or raised car if you are hiring a vehicle, especially during the rainy season. The property is 30 minutes drive to Byron Bay, Bangalow and Lismore are 20 mins drive and Clunes is 8 mins. Please check out our location prior to booking, thank you. Rosebank View is also a working property with the macadamia nut trees, you may cross paths with our tree management company, who are nurturing and looking after the trees for us.
