Our place is perfect for a getaway and wedding groups, because of the location to popular wedding venues and the beautiful Hunter Region. The ambiance, outdoors and privacy offer guests peace and quiet in a welcoming and beautiful place. Pets welcome. All rooms have stunning views. We are surrounded by wildlife and park like grounds that have astounded guests since we listed. Complimentary breakfasts are provided. Our property is unique. We enjoy total privacy. Our partly sealed driveway is almost 2 km long leaving suburbia far behind, whilst being only 55 mins from the city, ocean beaches and trendy eating places. Close to historical Maitland, Morpeth, Paterson and Lorn. The Hunter Valley Vineyards offer guests endless sight-seeing opportunities and is very popular. The distance from the vineyards to our place varies. It can be 45 minutes, or longer. if finding our place after dark. You have exclusive access to the separate guest section of our home. You also have access to our games room. Parts of our deck area will be shared with us however we limit our use of this section when guests are staying. The property will be shared with us and our border collies. We will be welcoming and available as much as, or as little as, you prefer. Your privacy and comfort are our main concern. Our neighbourhood is rural. Some landowners are here for the country lifestyle, others are farmers. From our elevated property you can see the lights of the city south east and the odd twinkle of properties in the valleys to the north. The Watagan Mountains can be seen in the distance as can the Stockton Dunes and the communities of Raymond Terrace and Tocal. Guests would need to have a private transport. NOTE: There is NO kitchen, only a kitchenette. Our property is also unique in that we are not on the electricity grid and produce our own electricity through solar energy. We also collect rain water for our water supply. This is an energy efficient property, designed to be cool in summer and warm in winter. IMPORTANT NOTICE Finding rural properties can be extra difficult at NIGHT or if you are pressed for time. It is nothing like finding a house in the suburbs and (Hidden by Airbnb) does not always get it correct. We will advise you of how to access our place and this NEEDS to be passed on to your other guests if they are traveling separately. It is also home to many native animals and reptiles, so guests should exercise common sense when out and about.
