Our home is at the other end of the property beyond the orchard. We completely respect your privacy. We do maintain the grounds/pick our produce, so if you do see us around, feel free to wander over for a chat. All too happy to answer any questions if we can. Urenui village is approximately 5 minutes drive away and has a well-stocked Four Square (supermarket), eateries and a take-away, petrol station with postal service. Just 3 minutes drive North is a cafe /restaurant and during summer, a further 10 minutes you will come to Wai-iti beach and cafe. Head down Beach Rd, you will find Urenui beach/motor camp and golf course. Launch the boat down the boat ramp, swim and kayak on the river, play a round of golf …have an ice cream at the beach camp store. Travel north and turn off to Waitoetoe Beach. Not as easy to access but well worth the effort as it is a long sandy beach at low tide, great for surf casting and swimming alike. Taranaki region is well known for its surf, mountain, garden festivals, Govett- Brewster Art Gallery/Len Lye Center, Americana, WOMAD and many other attractions. New Plymouth city is only 25 minutes drive away.
