Very spacious apartment located in a 1950's building. Only 1 min walk to the main shopping street of Furn El Chebbak where you can quickly pick up a taxi to visit main sights in Beirut and around. Fully equipped. 2 bedroom: 1 Master bedroom + 1 bedroom suitable for adults or kids (baby crib available upon request) + 1 complete bathroom with bathtub + big living room & fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is ideal for couples and families. It has large spacious rooms and a 3,7 m ceiling height and a nice terrace. All equipment needed for toddlers such as highchair, stroller, crib or other items are available upon request free of charge. Toys and books are also there for kids to enjoy. The building is directly accessible from the main street and is equipped with an elevator. Apartment is on the 3rd floor. We are abroad at the moment, but you will be welcomed by a friend or family member the day you arrive and the day you leave. The neighborhood and the area is one of the few remaining streets with the signs of old life in Beyrouth. You can still spot individual houses with gardens and buildings with Art Deco inspired architecture. Several movies or ad commercials were even filmed in the street because of its natural charm. Several shops can be found in the street : butcher, grocery, bakery, barber, hairdresser, shoemaker and other typical shops. You will be very welcomed as they will know from the moment you arrive your fully story! The apartment is 50 m away from Damascus road where you can easily find a shared taxi (called service with a fare rate of 2 000 L.L per person). At walking distance, you can reach Adlieh roundabout or Mathaf (National museum) intersection where several public bus lines pass. You can always ask for a taxi or an Uber if your budget allows it. In case you rented a car, a big parking is available just behind the appartment building which is directly accessible from the ground floor on foot. Car access to the parking is however from the Damascus main road. Parking is safe and secured with typical rates and possibility to leave the car overnight for around 10$. Furn el Chebback internal streets are very calm residential areas, ideal place to come back to, after a full day visiting Beirut and other regions in Lebanon.
