Slide open patio doors and step into a garden surrounded by trees and filled with birdsong. Make meals in a simple, modern kitchen and dine alfresco. Explore nearby nature trails, and retreat to a tranquil space with a generously sized bedroom. The loft has its own private entry through its own covered front outdoor seating area. You have a separate bedroom with built I wardrobe and TV discretely tucked away. The kitchen adjacent links to the rear yard, which you have another covered outdoor area and your own BBQ. The laundry is access from the rear yard and is shared with another apartment. Up a ladder in the kitchen is a loft area with a day bed which can be used as a single bed that overlooks the bushland. The bathroom is also down two steps and off the kitchen through a passage. All of this is for your personal use and is not shared. Only Courtyard and garden areas are shared for access only. The garden areas that are linked to your own personal outdoor covered spaces. We ask each guest what interaction they would like and respect people’s privacy Very quiet area, lots of birds, big trees provide a shady outdoors. The place is a 5-minute drive from South Freo Beach and a few more minutes away from the action of Fremantle (10mins by car and 20mins by walk and bus) Bikes are free to use. Walk to the beach and nearby Manning Park. A nature trail begins at the back door, offering views of the beach, coastline, and hills 10min bike ride to south Fremantle beach, 30min walk. Rapid bus transport along Rockingham road, sometimes every 2mins, 10 mins to Fremantle Station by bus, 10 min walk to bus stop. Great supermarket next to bus stop. Uber around $8-10 to Fremantle. Between $40-50 for an Uber taxi from airport. To travel to Rottnest the cheapest day is Tuesday at half price. If a Tuesday doesn't suit you, then I suggest you book now as they have cheaper deals for earlier booking. The ferry trip is expensive and so book early! If you want to stay a night at Rottnest the camp fee is $38 anytime (mid week and weekend) . They also have a Caroline Thomson cabins from $114 per night that sleep 6. They are one room with kitchen and own bathroom. Go online and search Rottnest Island to book. For car hire, there are lots. Depends on if you want to take a car from the airport or spend the money to taxi it to another car hire place. The cheapest place I know is No Birds Bayswater Car hire or Fremantle world of cars (this is very close to our house - walking distance). Each place offers cars from $20 per day. I think both companies insurance is not too bad or if you have a credit card and international drivers license your card may cover insurance - worth checking as that can save you money too.
