Secret Lake Farmstay

Modern home located on a hill top in the country in the centre of an active farm - just 15 kms from Whakatane. Views of mountains, bush, lake, geo thermal areas and all over the Rangaitiki Plains. Great for star gazing on any clear night. The locations offers peace and tranquility for your stay. Your full apartment is competely private - a living space, spacious bedroom, separate toilet to bathroom (both bath and walk in shower). Continental breakfast is provided for you to help yourself to in your apartment, when it is convenient. You will have a small fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. I work part time and also on the surrounding farm. If I am not here to meet you an entry key is available so I will always ask for your estimated time of arrival. I am always keen to share time over a wine with those guests who are here for longer than a 1 night stay. Awakeri Hot Springs are just 2 kms away. This location requires you to have your own vehicle as there isn't public transport available. Driving from either Rotorua or Tauranga takes less than 1 hour. From Gisborne, just over 2 hours.
