Built in 2000, the Annexe is a modern attachment to the owner’s home. Designed with privacy in mind, it is situated above the property’s double garage and is accessed by a private external stairway. In an elevated position with panoramic views over adjoining farmlands to Kirkcudbright Bay and the Solway Firth, the Annexe is a self-contained wing of the owner's recently built home. It is delightfully light and comfortable, everything you'll need for a relaxing holiday. The living area is open-plan, consisting of a large and light lounge with television. Stunning sea views can be had from the large windows. The modern kitchen is well equipped and there is both a breakfast bar and a dining area. The bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with luxury corner bath and shower over, wash basin and toilet. The settee in the lounge also converts into a comfortable double bed, but access to the bathroom has to be through the bedroom. CLEANING FEE is included in daily rate. The flat is all-electric with double-glazing throughout and underfloor heating if required. All heating and electricity as well as bed linen, towels and tea-towels are included. All fuel and power, linen and towels, are included in the rent, leaving you to relax and enjoy the lovely rural location. Includes free Wi-Fi. Locally, there are facilities for dingy sailing, golf, fishing, cycling, bird watching and walking. A short drive finds the vibrant and attractive towns of Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Gatehouse of Fleet. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement at an extra cost of £20 per dog per stay, and a cot for small children can be provided. Please arrange for these at time of booking. The owner's large garden is available for use by guests. There is also ample parking in the grounds. Although the accommodation is all on one level, access is by an external staircase and it may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm
