Auchlossen Studio: modern light s/c apartment

Modern, light self contained studio apartment in the heart of Banchory with all amenities. Under the present Covid19 regime, the studio will be kept vacant for a day between hostings, to allow for superclean. Guests must show the names of both guests at time of booking, their normal place of residence, mode of travel, and purpose of visit. They will also show how their request for accommodation complies with current Covid rules. Apologies for this pandenic requirement. This is a new build property (2017), a modern studio apartment completely separate from the main house. With wood laminate floors throughout, lots of light, triple glazed windows, a new king size bed - everything you need to enjoy your visit to Royal Deeside. The studio boasts lots of light from triple glazed windows, a large king size bed with new mattress, en suite, kitchen area (including fridge, microwave, 2 hob cooker, pots and pans, kettle). Simple continental breakfast will be provided: - tea and coffee - milk - selection of cereals etc - condiments, rolls, butter and marmalade - freshly baked home made wholemeal bread on request (we make our own regularly!). I will be available for check in (and check out where feasible). I live in the main house next door and unless away on cycling adventures, I will be around to answer any queries. I have lived in the area for almost 30 years and will be happy to answer any questions/give advice on things to do! Quiet, quaint town in Royal Deeside. Plenty of local shops and cafes. 10 minutes walk to the Falls of Feugh, level walks along the banks of the river Dee, to the tower on Scolty hill and around the parks in the town. Easy access to the castles and gardens of Royal Deeside. Excellent opportunities for hill walking, cycling, walking the Deeside Way, salmon fishing on the river Dee. The bus route runs through the valley, from Aberdeen to Ballater and Braemar. It stops on Banchory high street which is a 1 minute walk from the property. Food shops are within walking distance Renting a car is advisable if you wish to explore the area more fully, there is parking space by the studio. There are no pets at the property
