NB THIS ACCOMMODATION CAN ONLY BE USED BY SINGLE HOUSEHOLDS DUE TO SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT COVID 19 REGULATIONS 4 South Park Cottages is a new holiday home which I want to share via AirBnB. Its on the Glenburn Road in Ardrishaig just before the Grey Gull Hotel as to travel from Lochgilphead. The village is now best known for yachts because of the Crinan Canal which links the sea lochs. You have the use of the entire flat, which has three bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen, a bathroom with bath and shower. There is a parking space at the back of the cottage for one car and there is a garden at the front with a bench and table and chairs in the shed. I have someone look after the flat for me so they will probably meet you with the key - otherwise there is a key safe and I will send you the code before your stay. Ardrishaig is best known as the starting point of the Crinan Canal, a fine example of 19th century engineering known as ‘Britain’s most beautiful shortcut’. The Grey Gull Inn is next door to the flat and has a Bar and Restaurant which offers meals, light snacks, wines and beers. Ardrishaig is a great base for exploring the area and outdoor activities including walking, cycling, wildlife watching (beavers in Knapdale) and all sorts of birds and mammals in and around Loch Gilp and Loch Fyne.
