The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, and two more guest can sleep in the spare sofa-bed. When weather is fine you can also stay in the garden, and always enjoy wi-fi internet. Main interest of visitors is Venice. It takes 10 minutes by car to get to Mogliano railway station, with free parking and frequent trains to Venice center, 20 minutes commute. Do consider visiting Treviso and Padova, with medieval sightseeing and churches; Treviso is cozy and quiet, Padova has the Sant'Antonio Basilica, Giotto's frescoes of Scrovegni, the Palazzo della Ragione and the whole centre with arcades dating back to 12th century. They are both filled with shops of any kind (sweets, shoes, jewels, bags etc). Depending on your interest and time, you can also reach in a couple of hours the Garda lake and Verona (the Romeo&Giuliet city), Dolomiti mountains, as well as Jesolo and Caorle shores. Within a day trip there are quite a few walled cities and venetian villas ( (Hidden by Airbnb) for Cittadella, Montagnana, Villa Pisani Strà, Riviera del Brenta). The house is near the Golf Club Ca' della Nave in Martellago and Villa Condulmer in Mogliano; swimming pool, tennis court and riding centres are a few minutes away. We will be happy to help you plan day visits to places of your interest. We called it "la Gattessa," since we share the house with our beloved cats, and we feel that the oldest one (gatta), who has the demeanor of a duchess, (duchessa), is the real owner of the area - hence the name Gatt-essa.
