Stonehaven Loft offers a large newly renovated bedroom with kingsize bed, a well-appointed shower room, kitchenette & lounge area. Situated above a detached garage, guests can enjoy independence and privacy. The room has its own allocated parking space, Wifi, 40” flatscreen Sky TV with Sky Sports and Sky Cinema package, plus a fridge and microwave for basic meal preparation. Whether your stay is for work or pleasure, Stonehaven Loft offers the perfect base. Situated in the small village of Burridge, Stonehaven loft offers spacious accommodation, ideal for 1 – 2 adults, visiting the area either for work or pleasure. The loft has a kingsize bed, a fully tiled shower room, ample drawer and hanging space, a large comfortable armchair, Wifi, 40” flatscreen Sky TV with Sky Sports and Sky Cinema package, DVD player, Sky wifi, and a small table and chairs for breakfast dining or laptop working. The room also contains a fridge and microwave to allow for the preparation of basic meals as needed but we’d recommend you try out one of the many fabulous local eateries. At Stonehaven we offer check in from 16:00 and no earlier unless otherwise agreed and check out no later than 10:00. Due to the elevated position of the bedroom accessed via an external staircase, we cannot accept small children or pets. We take great pride in offering clean, Covid-safe accommodation. To assist with the time required to undertake enhanced cleaning protocols and the swift transition of guests, we ask that guests strip the bed and put used linen and towels in the bag provided, and that this bag is placed by the back door of the main house. We also ask that guests use the black bin liners provided for rubbish and that this is put into the appropriate bin at the bottom of the staircase. Plenty of clean towels are available in the bedroom. However, if you are staying for multiple days, to avoid running out, please place your used towels in the bag provided and by the back door of the main house so that these can laundered for you and your supply replenished. Bed linen will be laundered and changed once a week for guests staying 7 days +. We like to give our guests space and privacy and we’ve provided information about local services and operating instructions for the bedroom facilities in the room. However, we'll share contact details prior to arrival so you can contact us if any problems. Due to working full time and family commitments, we may not always be onsite to assist but will do everything we can to resolve your queries quickly. We ask that you advise us of any issues as soon as possible so we can deal with them quickly and so your stay isn’t impacted. We offer self check-in via the key safe which is located to the right of the side gate that sits between the garage and the main house. There are two keys; one for the side gate and one for the bedroom itself – you will need both. The bedroom is accessed via a metal staircase complete with security lights. You will be sent a message 48 hours before check-in with the code to access the key safe. All keys are to be returned to the key safe on check-out. The bedroom is situated above a detached garage. Guests are asked to park in front of the garage leaving access to the space at the side. The driveway entrance is shared with one neighbour and we request that you drive safely and respectfully. Burridge is a small village sitting near the south coast midway between Southampton and Portsmouth and 14 miles south of Winchester. Its traditional industry was the growing of strawberries, which were distributed by rail from Swanwick railway station. Local shops and pubs can be found within nearby villages of Whiteley and Park Gate. The property is semi-rural and Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve is less than 10 minutes’ walk away down a short lane. Equally, we’re close by to many local amenities. Whiteley Shopping Centre is a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk and here you can find a number of high street shops including Marks and Spencer, Next, Sports Direct, WH Smith, H&M, Superdrug, Boots and many more as well as a large Tesco. Whiteley also has a number of restaurants including Prezzo, Nandos, Five Guys, DimT, Wagamama and a Vue Cinema. For those seeking some coastal air, there are a number of lovely walks around Swanwick and Warsash which are less than 10 minutes’ drive away. Swanwick train station with direct services to Southampton, Portsmouth, Chichester, Brighton & London Victoria is also just 25 minutes’ walk or a 5 minute drive away.
