Torgorm Cottage No.1 This cosy bungalow is a traditional semi-detached stone cottage and comfortably sleeps 2 or 4 guests. One dog is welcome and the whole family will enjoy walks and cycle routes from the doorstep. Torgorm Cottage No. 1 is situated in a rural, countryside location on a private farm, just 1 mile from Conon Bridge, only 3 miles from the popular market town of Dingwall, and 12 miles south is Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. You are ideally located for going north to Sutherland, south to Speyside, west to Ullapool and east to Elgin - all within an hour’s drive away, plus only a stone’s throw away from the NC500. You’ll instantly feel at home in this country-style cottage which has been sympathetically modernised. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, with its wood burning stove and modern kitchen facilities. Many of the cottage’s original features have been maintained, including the tongue and groove lined walls which add to the property’s country charm. The cottage enjoys south facing views across attractive farmland towards Ben Wyvis, Dingwall and Cromarty Firth, giving it a peaceful and secluded feel. There are two comfortable light & airy bedrooms – one double and one twin room, making it the ideal family farm holiday or is equally perfect for a romantic break in the country. An open plan kitchen and living area with sofas and wood-burning stove is a welcoming place to put your feet up, relax, read or watch TV - perfect for chilly evenings. The kitchen has all you need with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and an electric oven/hob. Once you’ve cooked up a feast, dine together round the wooden dining table and make your plans for the next day. The bathroom is bright and has a shower over the bath. There is WIFI, Hi Fi and TV with Freeview and the cottage is heated via a Biomass heating system. The farm itself has over a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sheep, 300 cows and also grows malting barley and wheat. During lambing time there is plenty of activity and lots of lambs of course! You’re ideally located here to explore this part of the Highlands so you’re in a wonderful location to easily take advantage of all that this wild and exciting part of Scotland has to offer. Whether you are into fishing, golf, hill walking, cycling or just chilling, then Torgorm No. 1 is a really comfortable & cosy wee place to stay. This beautiful cottage sleeps 4 guests in two comfortable light & airy bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is a double bed and the another one twin room. The open plan kitchen/living/dining is perfect for chilled evenings. The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and an electric oven/hob. The bathroom has a bath/shower. There is WIFI, a Hi Fi and a TV with Freeview channels. You will have access to the whole property for the duration of your stay. You will be given the contact details of the people looking after you with the arrival information before your stay.
