Good sized private room (4’ double & single bed)

A cottage style end of terrace property, a little out of the city but with good bus routes - travel time 30-45 minutes to city centre - the area is semi-rural NB: I have agreed to Airbnb requirements to ensure a COVID safe environment for all guests; check website for details - Due to COVID pandemic I cannot normally accept guests who need to quarantine/self isolate as I have 2 rooms and shared spaces with other guests - Airbnb asked me to switch off instant book to keep all guests safe Small cul-de-sac location with plenty of parking - the property benefits from being only 6 miles to the city centre whilst also being in a semi-rural location - there is traffic noise (due to proximity of motorway), particularly when windows are open in warm weather There is a second room that can also be rented (as a separate booking) enabling a group of up to 5 people to stay NB: Third party bookings are not possible under Airbnb terms and conditions Guests are welcome to use my good sized garden - there are two swings for children There is a shared bathroom and second downstairs toilet There is a good sized dining area for breakfast including a small fridge for use by guests I live at the property and am happy to answer questions - I’m also available by mobile phone at most reasonable times when I’m out Hambrook is a small series of hamlets just outside the city The property benefits from being in a small cul-de-sac Only 6 miles from the city centre but at the same time giving you a feel of the countryside Close to bus and train links There are several supermarkets around 5-10 mins away by car If using public transport use Y3 or Y4 to access large shopping centre in Yate or Bristol City Centre If you wish to walk, the closest 'corner' shop is 10-15 mins almost opposite Beckspool Road bus stop (road is signposted golf club) There are many transport options available Bus Y3 and Y4 to the city or Yate Metro bus M3 (prepay only) Taxi or Uber Bike hire in the city - Bristol’s yellow bike scheme Trains from Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads - E.g. Bath Spa, Cardiff, Reading, Oxford and London Paddington For cat lovers my large and friendly black cat is a bonus Due to the rural location the property has a biological cesspit system - it is essential only toilet paper is flushed down the toilet - anything else will at best cause a blockage or potentially break the pump which will be expensive to repair and inconvenience all users of the system (shared by four properties)
