Come enjoy a unique boutique hotel experience in this charming, sunlit, beautifully furnished, "artsy", contemporary, loft apartment located in Historic Downtown Washington. Large windows overlook the newly renovated Main Street in the heart of the entertainment and arts district where you can enjoy world-class shopping & dining. There are lots of new shops and restaurants that have opened! The Loft On Main is it's own apartment located over The Secret Garden Boutique and Gallery. 100% private access. It is outfitted with wi-fi, a queen-size bed, fluffy sofa, TV, fully-equipped kitchen with all utensils, coffee maker, full-size refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Complimentary coffee, tea and water. Large dining table and separate sunlit work space with large antique table. Full bathroom with shower. Towels, soap, shampoo, lotions and all linens provided. Street-side entrance with one flight of stairs to private door, right next door to the Turnage Theater. It's all yours! Your Hosts Kevin Hardy, a Washington native, and his wife Laura, a licensed massage therapist, live and work nearby. Barbara Hardy and her husband Bob Ray are partners in this rental (It's a family business). All are welcoming and friendly hosts who have in-depth knowledge of the area and are happy to help make your stay the best it can be! The Loft On Main is surrounded by an array of specialised small business', including an amazing bakeries and coffee shops, as well as many fantastic places to eat, from fine dining to pub fare. There are lots of eclectic shops and markets from clothing to crafts and fine art. Historic Washington has become a hub for art galleries, showcasing many talented local artists. Stroll a block or two in any direction to enjoy the waterfront boardwalk, historic tours, Railroad Museum, North Carolina Estuarium, or rent bikes, golf cart, kayak, canoe or boat. Only a few blocks to public boat ramp, city docks and Marina. A short drive to state parks and outstanding national wildlife viewing sites. Please reach out to us with any questions. Thanks, Kevin Free parking directly behind the building, right in front of the courthouse. Use the alley between Angie's Mexican kitchen and The Harbor District Market for the closest access. Also, free parking behind the buildings across the street off of Stuart Parkway with easy access by alley. There is also free parking right out front on Main street between 5 PM and 8 AM. Update: The construction on Main street has been completed and it looks amazing!!! Also, there are several new business' that have recently opened, including restaurants and shops. Thanks, Kevin
