CasaZorzi Olea - Guesthouse of a castle with pool

A lovely ancient house in the very heart of Arquà Petrarca, rated 2nd among the most beautiful historical villages in Italy! A perfect urban guesthouse of Castello di Lispida (the swimming pool is located just 5 minutes away by car - 5 km.). All 4 apartments, beautifully furnished with antique pieces, include garden, TV, a well outfitted small kitchen, heating\air conditioning, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Casa Zorzi, in the centre of the medieval village of Arquà Petrarca, is part of the Lispida Castle, located 5 km away, in the heart of the Euganean Hills Regional Park. The 4 apartments are furnished with antique and vintage furniture and paintings, it has free services such as bicycles (at the castle) and Wi-Fi. At the castle (5 km. \ 5 minutes by car) try the heated indoor swimming pool and the external hot tubs (open all year), and our natural wines in the welcoming atmosphere of the wine bar (tastings by reservation). Not far away there are numerous spas where you can book massages and the famous mud therapy. Before the Padova Est turn-off, leave the A4 and take the A13 for Bologna. After about 20km take the Terme Euganee turn-off, and head for Battaglia Terme => Monselice => Rovigo. Stay on the A-road for Monselice (don’t turn right to Battaglia Terme), and 2 kms. after Battaglia Terme you’ll see a green drawbridge and the traffic lights. Turn right towards Arquà Petrarca . As you will approach the house - driving on a steep road in the centre of the village- after passing number 23 continue until you reach the crossway and there turn on the left. You will then drive downhill until you see on your left a steep entrance to a little alley or cul-de-sac, where you will temporary park the car, in order to unload the luggage. A few steps up and you will come back to via Jacopo d’Arquà ; you will see number 23 where we will welcome you. Coming from Milano or Brenner Pass: take the A4 motorway direction Venezia. Pass the exit Padova est. Motorway A13 direction Bologna. Exit Terme Euganee (20 kms. from Padova). Turn left direction Battaglia Terme – Monselice – Rovigo. The apartment is for your exclusive use, while the garden is shared with other Guests, as well as the swimming pool and hot tubs located at the castle. We are not always present, but reachable at all times. And our team will do their best to make you feel at home! Not far from Arquà Petrarca is the Lispida Castle (5km. \ 5 minutes by car), where guests can access and use the services free of charge (indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, barbecue room, bicycles, playground); the monumental historical garden of Valsanzibio; 4 golf courses; the small medieval towns of Monselice, Este and Montagnana; Abbeys of Praglia and Carceri; different, wonderful Venetian villas. The Monselice railway station (4 km.) and the A13 Monselice motorway exit (5 km.) make Arquà Petrarca an ideal starting point for guided tours of Venice and the cultural cities of Padua, Vicenza, Verona and Treviso.
