In Carrizal shore you'll find Playa de El Burrero and Playa de Vargas, both advised to practice windsurf or kite surf, not sandy beaches. Kind of far to go walking, about 40 minutes if you want to excercise. (please see pictures) This is not a touristic area, but where I live. It's a local town with local people. The old neighborhood around the church is very quiet, mostly old houses from the early 1900s. On August 15, the day of the Virgin of Buen Suceso is celebrated with religious events, sporting activities, exhibition of native sports and also fairs of cattle. There's a supermarket 10 minutes walking distance. The commercial main street is on the low part of the town. There's where shops, ATMs and mostly stores are located. From the airport, it's 8 minutes driving. A taxi could cost 9€. You can get by bus: Line 1, 5, 11, 19 and 36 on the main street, then walk about 11 minutes. The studio is located in the old neighborhood of the town, right in front of the church. It's a very quiet area in general, but sometimes can be quite busy and noisy at service time or during weddings or funerals. Bells ring every hour from 8am to 10pm, specially on Sundays, weddings and funerals and you should expect people chattering on the street. Also street noise in general is expected since the apartment is at street level.
