Room #2, The Dahlia Farm

We have a wonderful, cozy & comfortable home nestled in 5 acres of gorgeous flowers . If you look out the bedroom window you get a wonderful view of the farm, back yard & a small view of Mt. Hood. If you are in need of a work area, the desk in our room will be a great asset for you. Enjoy our back patio for sipping your morning coffee or tea (provided) or take a stroll on our quiet road to see the cows in the pasture next door. We offer a light continental breakfast in all 4 of our guest rooms. We offer a light continental breakfast for guests in all 4 rooms including things like muffins, yogurt, cheese sticks & fresh fruit. As you enter our home you'll notice the beautiful large barn door that Mike & I built. If this is closed then we ask for privacy but if it's open please come in, chat for awhile & say hello. Our farm home is about 7 minutes from Gresham, 15 minutes from the Troutdale Outlet Mall & the Sandy River, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 35 minutes from picturesque Multnomah Falls, 45 minutes from beautiful Hood River, 45 minutes from Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, 1hr 45 minutes from the Oregon Coast beach towns of Cannon Beach & Seaside, & about 60 minutes from the breathtaking Willamette Wine Country. We have a beautiful barn door that my husband & I just built as you enter the front door of the house. If the door is closed then we would ask for your privacy; however if it is open please feel free to come find us & say hello. To access the cozy back porch, just walk outside the front door to the far garage door & use the path to the back of the house. Feel free to use our back patio that is covered, stroll thru the Dahlia farm, walk around our property or play corn hole in the grass. I love greeting our guests if I'm home, but if not I'm available by text or phone. We have wonderful neighbors and a quiet street. You'll see things such as cows, sheep, goats, pigs and an occasional bunny hopping across the road if you venture out for a nice walk. There will be plenty of parking in our driveway, just be courteous not to block anyone in or park behind someone. Please enjoy the open loft space upstairs. You will find such things as a microwave, a mini fridge, Kuerig, instant Hot Water Kettle, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, plates, silverware, wine glasses, cups, board games, popcorn, tea , cider, coffee, cocoa and 3 cozy chairs to relax in.
