A gem of a 2 bedroom cosy holiday home, set between the sea and the cosmopolitan Sovereign Harbour Marina on the sunshine coast of Eastbourne, East Sussex. 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite. 2 private parking spaces. From the back gate to the harbours edge less than a minute stroll. Walk to restaurants cafes bars & retail looking at the multitude of boats on the harbour. Then the retail shops with Asda,Next,Sports Direct,Boots,Matalan,TK Max,Harvey and Wilco’s One double bedroom en-suite & Kingsize bed. Wardrobe chest of draws bedside cabinets. Wall mounted free view TV. En-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and basin. Second bedroom is a double bed, with wardrobe chest draws /bedside cabinet small free view TV. Upstairs bathroom with bath and over bath shower, toilet and basin. Fully furnished kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, (no dishwasher) microwave, slow cooker, small George Formeman and Nespresso coffee machine (Supply your own pods, I have left a few). 2 coffee cafeteria’s. There is ample salt pepper olive oil vinigars stock cubes. Individual marmalade’s and strawberry jam. Sachets of PG tips and Nescafé coffee’s sugar, some treats an a home made cake. Foil and cling film are provided. The lounge/diner has comfortable seating and table 4 chairs. Free WIFI, Smart Free View TV for your Netflix & accounts. Bring your passwords to watch. iPod Station. CD player. Downstairs cloakroom. Outside - Relax in the decked garden with table & chairs & bench. Please note the house is not suitable for under 4 years of age. Full access to house and garden space, with private car parking for 2 cars at the rear of the property, access is from the front or back of the house, via a key safe. Eastbourne is famous for its Airborne ✈️(International airshow) that runs every August. 2022 may possibly be the last one due to cost 😢 Along the coast you will find the famous bandstand which holds live bands 🎸🎤throughout the summer. Often Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays. See website.(Shut for refurbishment during 2022). Then there is the 19th century pier. 4 Theatres. You can ride the open top bus. 🚌There are also plenty of golf courses ⛳️within close proximity. If you like to walk, you will find the Southdowns national park, Beachy Head Seven Sisters, Cuckmere Haven for lots of walking. Or give the Cockoo cycle trail a go. It’s 14 miles of cycling 🚴‍♀️ pathways. The town centre has a newly refurbished shopping mall and cinema. From the back gate cross the estate road to find the Harbour, ⛵️🛥 turn left to walk round the harbour over the bridge to the restaurants. For Bike Hire. App-Bike 🚴Hire via smart phone to the left of The Yacht Club on walk round to Retail Centre. The Beach 🏖 From the front of the house cross the road to access the beach. Once there turn left to head towards Pevency Bay along the pebble beach. The famous Pevency Castle sits in Pevency. Walk the other way along the beach path to the outer harbour then to the Locks watch the boats 🛥🚤coming in and out of the harbour. Cross the locks follow the headland round and follow the coastline and walk all the way to Pier around 3 miles. Passing the Sovereign swimming centre on the way. Treasure Island for the kids. The beach Deck for Coffee lunch dinner. Keep going until you reach the Pier. From here head inland to the town. Then catch a bus back or grab a cab. You can carry on walking past the Pier all the way to Holywell there is a cafe an toilets there. Local buses within walking distance, or a short cab ride to the station will give you good transport links to Gatwick, Brighton, Hastings and London. The boiler is on for hot water and heating. Heating thermostat inside lounge door. If you use the heating please don’t forget to turn down then off when you leave. On departure day please remove all bedding including all pillow cases, (pillow protectors-if you have time )and top mattress protector, to the bath for easy pick up thank you. All washed on 60c and an Antibacterial Laundry Cleanser is added. The whole house is covid cleaned by myself. This is very important to me to make your stay as comfortable and safe as possible. Please note the mattress protectors, pillow protectors bath mats and shower curtain are changed with every turnaround. Each bathroom has a small selection of toiletries should you forget to bring one of yours. Please note the house is not suitable for under 4 years of age.
