Ashbourne Beach House

Reduce to the max. No thick carpets, no oven, fancy television or corner bath. But an enchanting, clean wooden house, light maritime colours, the sound of rolling waves, an outdoor shower under the trees and endless skies - If simplicity is your thing - the Beach House will make you happy. Well behaved dogs welcome (max 2, extra cleaning fee of R150/dog). The house is first line of the beach, with sea views from the breakfast terrace. There's a braai area in the garden. Wifi is on and off. The Beach House is uniquely constructed with lots of open space that makes you breathe freely. It has a spacious lounge which is opening up onto a North Facing wooden deck. Relax on a lounger in the sun or enjoy your braai on the separate braai area. The lounge has a fireplace – but don't expect miracles in the wooden house. The open plan kitchen and dining area the perfect place for family breakfasts or dinners. The kitchen is equipped with everything you really need - and nothing more. Enough to prepare breakfasts or light meals, but not for serious cooking events (it has a microwave and a 2 burner gas hob, but no oven). Whether breakfasting out on the deck or enjoying a truly South African braai, you are assured of a memorable stay. There is an LTE Wifi Router, but the signal is on and off. Se be happy if it works - and don't be upset if there's no signal. There's no Television. The entire house. Always available on my mobile should you need anything. Shark Cage Diving. Whale Watching.
