Near Edinburgh Airport Self Contained Annexe Ratho

We would love to welcome you to our home in Ratho, where we have a very quiet private annexe with a double bedroom KING BED private bathroom (shower only) and a kitchen area with microwave small table top oven and single induction hob close to Edinburgh airport, the Ratho climbing Arena and Ingliston Showground, with Edinburgh easily reachable via bus and tram. The Bridge Inn and canalside walks are nearby. Our location is ideal for all the main road routes making travel easy A very quiet and private annexe and summer hut with its own entrance, a keybox for any hours entry/exit. The unit is self contained and has a locked door leading to the main house - there is a private patio and garden with patio furniture and washing lines for your use . Fantastic morning sun as well as early evening - our shower has great power and the bed is amazing - please feel free to use the washing machine ( no dryer) and coffee maker (pods available)there is a small electric heater below the sink in the kitchen - extra pillows and linen in the kitchen cupboards - the fridge freezer will have milk etc for your use, please help yourself to items in the kitchen drawers bread cereal tea coffee etc - The Summer hut is a new edition to our airbnb where you can relax inside or out. Private entrance at the rear of the property, quiet private and welcoming our annexe consists of a double bedroom, a large shower room and a kitchen area. The DOUBLE bedroom has a fab comfortable KING SIZED bed,freeview TV and a small sofa for relaxing so you don’t need to sit on the bed- this means the space is a bit tight but not all travellers want to use the outside summerhouse so what we have suits all guests- Please feel free to relax in the summer house . The shower room has toiletries a shower with great water pressure wc and wash handbasin. The kitchen area has a microwave a small table topped oven and a single convection hob a fridge/top drawer in freezer which has bread for toasting .We provide a range of cereals jams coffee and tea/coffee/milk - please help yourself. Sorry we don’t provide any cooked items there is a shop in the village if you need anything other than what we have there is an iron with ironing board a hairdryer and a storage cupboard with hanging space for your jackets and for storing your baggage etc .There is a sewing kit and a first aid box in the bottom drawer also a small fire extinguisher next to the microwave /please feel free to use the summer hut for comfort during your stay with us which has wifi and freeview tv. We love a good chat but also understand some people don’t so we are happy to do either We are more than happy to receive texts if you need anything - Happy to help we will always try our best to make our guests happy- things like flight times sometimes stop us meeting up but I am sure our wee bit of peace and tranquility will let you continue your travels feeling rested and refreshed We are in a beautiful peaceful village located next to the Union Canal and there are many walks in the area, we have a local pub 400 metres away which serves amazing food and has a large selection of wines and spirits The Bridge Inn - Edinburgh is easily reached by bus/tram . We are ideally situated for travelling in any direction . The number 20 bus from Bridge Inn a 2 minute walk away from our home connects with the tram at the Gyle Centre which takes you into Edinburgh city centre. There are 2 nearby options for drivers - park and ride TRAM from Ingilston - 5 min drive takes you into Edinburgh city centre - you can also catch a bus from same area If you are travelling away, you can leave your car on our drive . Please note we are a non smoking home there is a no smoking policy inside the property smoking outside is ok ash trays on patio table . If we are at an event we might not be at home to show you in the key pod is super easy but if you get stuck just give us a phone- we are also a pet free home so we can’t accommodate pets
