3 Bed Village Location - Great Urswick, Ulverston

Located around the fringes of Urswick Tarn this property is a welcome retreat for short or long-term stays and can easily accommodate up to 6 adults. The living area is comfortably furnished, with wooden beams and a log burning stove. The kitchen, and dining area, are equipped with all the essentials you will need for your stay. The bedrooms are bright and airy, and for stays of 3 nights or longer one room can be split into a twin if requested when booking. The property is across 3 levels. A kingsize room and bathroom are on the first floor, remaining bedrooms are on the top floor. The compact, but private outside area is a a great place to sit in the evening quiet. The access is not step free and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. There aren’t any areas of the cottage not accessible by guests. The garage will be locked but if you require storage for bikes, buggies etc please let us know We live in Great Urswick. We will not disturb you during your stay, but will be available to assist if needed. The rural village of Great Urswick is located with easy access to the National Park, Furness Peninsular, and the historic market towns of Ulverston and Barrow in Furness. For business travellers we are convenient for BAE and Glaxo The village is a perfect base for walking and cycling. Permits can be bought to fish or canoe on Urswick Tarn. Village pubs in Urswick and Bardsea provide a welcome end to your day We are a 5 minute drive from Ulverston train station. There is no public transport but taxis are easily available for shorter journeys. Please check the location and suitability of staying with us if you are arriving without a car. Please advise in advance if you require a travel cot and high chair We are sorry, but the property does not have facility to charge vehicles, and there are no charge points locally.
