Between Lyon, Beaujolais, Dombes

Ideal to explore Lyon and its Festival of Lights, Trévoux, Ars and their history, the Beaujolais and Dombes, this appartement on the ground floor of an old house is situated in the centre of Trévoux. Cosy 45m2 appartment, newly renovated, can easily fit 3 persons and one child under 12y. Living room, kitchen with all the necessary cooking equipement (microwave, washing machine, stove, exhaust hood, fridge, toaster, coffee machine). We provide breakfast on demand, at an extra cost of 5€ per person. The living room sofa can transform into a 120x190 bed. One king size room, with a 140x190 bed, and ensuite bathroom. The alcove holds a bed for a nice nap or provides a sleeping space for a child. The toilet is separate. We provide the basic cooking ingredients (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar etc..). Warm water and heating are supplied by the central heating boiler. Towels and bedding are provided. The flat is on the ground floor and has its own entrance. We know Lyon well as we have lived there, so we can give you good advice on where to go. Trévoux has also a nice history with its parliament and castle. If you're out of ideas, the town has a movie theater, a media centre and a few arts and crafts galleries. Villefranche sur Saone is a 12km, and we have a few brochures and infos about the region. In summer, the swimming pool „Les Cascades“ is very close, with big pools and slides. Pretty much everything is in walking distance, pharmacy, shops, post office etc. The appartment doesn't have a garden or patio, but the nature is very close by once you go outside. There is a free parking space next to the house and there is enough space for your bikes, if you decided to bring some. There are quite a few beautiful walks starting from the house, and plenty of bike trails along the Saone. The three main wine-producing areas of the region, Bourgogne, Beaujolais and Côtes du Rhône are easily reachable by car, as well as Lyon, which is 25km away. We speak german fluently and english basics.
