Comfortable, bright flat oozing Mid Century chic.
Cool, peaceful, and light-filled flat in a converted warehouse space, stylishly decorated with vintage, mid-mod details. Highlights include industrial beams, floor to ceiling windows with a great Bristol view, and tons of retro cool. A well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living area makes this easy to just hang out in. And since its only a 10 minute walk to North street and a 20 minute walk to Wapping Wharf, it's also the perfect base for exploring the city. PS. Don't miss the roof! The apartment is an open-plan space within a converted Royal Mail office building and contains a separate bedroom and bathroom, the sofa in the lounge can also be used as a one-person sofa bed. It is finished to a high standard and the furniture is hand-picked original mid-century vintage. It has a good clean, well-equipped kitchen and a bent wood dining table that seats four. The bathroom has a large bath and shower with plenty of hot water and a heated towel rail. The bedroom is at the back towards the atrium and has a good quality bed and mattress made up with fresh linen. This is my actual apartment so there will be no access to the fitted cupboard in the bedroom but there will be a clothes rail and storage provided. There is a communal outside area on the roof which you are welcome to use with panoramic views of the city, picnic tables for al fresco meals as well as a running track for the more athletically minded. The apartment is generally quiet with minimal noise pollution and is secure due to the gated entrances. It takes 30 minutes by car or bus from the airport and is a 10 minute taxi ride from Bristol Temple Meads station. There is also a secure off-road parking spot available on request. I am close at hand and will be contactable in person or by phone or txt message or through airbnb for any advice or local info. *Breakfast includes : A loaf of bread, jam, butter, fruit, orange juice, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Please note these items will not be replenished for multiple nights' stay, however there is a Tesco Metro a short walk away* All of it I'm just around the corner and will be available if needed. The location is well-situated for exploring Bristol, especially the South of the city which has its own unique feel. It's less than 10 minutes by foot from all the cafes, bars, vintage shops and restaurants on vibrant North Street. This area is known for its independent shops including a high-quality butchers, sourdough bakeries galore, a local microbrewery, deli's and fishmongers. For evenings out it has the Tobacco Factory Theatre, The Hen and Chicken comedy club and the famous Oowie Burger as well as being a 20 minute-walk from Wapping Wharf and the Harbourside with its mix of container eateries, interesting bars, Brunel's SS Great Britain and galleries such as M-Shed and the Arnolfini. There is a Tesco Express right outside the gates and easy access to supermarkets and independent food shops. You can walk to the city centre in half an hour or hop on a bus from right outside.
