We live a short drive away near Volterra and know the area very well so would be happy to share local insight and help to organise any outings but we also respect your privacy if you prefer to be handed the keys and get on with your stay on your own. Lajatico is the home of Andrea Bocelli and one of the nicest towns in Tuscany. The sweeping views and quaint shops and decorated streets make it unmissable. Teatro di Silenzio annual Andrea Bocelli concert is 1.2km away - easily reachable on foot to avoid the crowds arriving Walking distance to all you need in the beautiful town of Lajatico Easily reached from Pisa airport in 45min Volterra, San Gimignano all within an hours drive Treat yourself to the many restaurants and wine tasting available locally I suggest you hire a car so you can easily reach Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano and many more places If your a walker then this is the perfect area for you to enjoy the never ending views. Pontedera train station is within 30min drive and is a main train line to reach florence. I can arrange a driver for you on request. You will reach easily the beaches of cecina which is only 36.5km away. The spiral stairs in the living room are for decoration only and not needed to access any area of the apartment.
