The village of Alfedena, shows many attractions: the ruins of the old castle with one of the rare octagone towers of central Italy, the remains of some old houses (the oldest dated 1504); furthermore, the Church of the Saints Peter and Paul - destroyed and rebuilt after WWII, that maintains a Romanic inspired shape and a precious medieval sone carved portal, the Archaeologic Samnites Museum A. De Nino, the ancient walls of the Samnites Acropolis of Curino. The area where Alfedena is located, is one of the most beautiful mountain regions of central Italy and offers many excursions all around, under many perspectives: nature, mountain, sport, horse riding, archaeology and paleontology as well as wine and food.
