This little house sits adjacent to our larger unique house which was the village restaurant/epicerie/bar in times past. The annex is now a two bedroom house with huge attic overlooking the village. Lovely garden and your own rustic kitchen, bathroom and dining/living area with wood burner. Use of the wood burner is required in winter as the main source of heating, fuel is provided. The house includes a long thin galley type kitchen, a spacious bathroom, a cosy dining and sitting area with a wood burner off which are the two bedrooms. Recently installed high quality vintage wood burner is relatively easy to use and control. Upstairs is a very large sitting/tv room, access to this room is via a steep stair which is not recommended for the very young or very old. There are two large trestle tables up here which are great workstations. Triple power adapter at each, there is a spare keyboard and monitor on one if you wish to connect to your laptop. There is a printer but black ink not working so only good for emergency printouts in colour. The sofa bed is not very comfortable so we have installed a single bed for now which doesn’t get in the way as the room is so big. Bedding and fresh linen in the chest. Also recently installed large (approx 40”) flat screen smart tv connected to internet and Netflix enabled if you have your own account. Also has dvd and vhs player with circa 100 movies on dvd/vhs in the house. The tv does not have aerial or cable however. Our large garden is available for use and has different sections to it if you prefer a bit of privacy. The garden is especially nice in Spring and Summer with various fruit trees, a flat area where there used to be a 'quillere' or dutch barn which is perfect for BBQ and more. We are often not there, but are happy to have a chat if we are. Guests have their own access and check in. Easy access to woodland, rivers and other countryside. We can recommend some great river spots very nearby if asked. Beaches are near at 20 mins, Berck and it's neighbouring beaches are the nearest, but if you have time to drive our favorite beaches and coasts are further south around the bay of the Somme and below. Again please ask if interested. Some lovely villages and towns in the locality No public transport. Taxis can be arranged from Hesdin which is 10 minutes away, but private vehicle advised.
