Glamping Under Stars Shepherd's Hut -
Beautiful Shepherd's Hut designed and built by us, highly recommended by Visit Wales is perfect for a peaceful romantic getaway. Located in the grounds of a traditional Welsh farmhouse with views over the Clwydian Mountains. Ideally located on bridleways and footpaths and close to major attractions in the North Wales area. Private and secluded picturesque spot in the grounds of a traditional Welsh farmhouse. Overlooking the Alun Valley and the Clwydian Mountains beyond. Includes private kitchen and bathroom with mains electric. The Shepherd's Hut contains a comfy pull out sofa bed (designed and made by us!), a beautiful reclaimed dresser and a small wood burning stove - perfect for those wintery days snuggled up in front of the fire. The Shepherd's Hut and the kitchen / bathroom area are exclusively for the use of the guests. There is private car parking and a picnic area by the Shepherd's Hut. The interaction between guests and hosts is entirely up to the guest! We are more than happy to provide advice on where to go for days out and recommendations of local places to eat. If you need us you can always find us or get hold of us. The Shepherd's Hut is located in a secluded area and so rest assured there's plenty of peace and quiet to be had! The North Wales area is a hidden gem. Packed with beautiful countryside, interesting walks, abundant wildlife and a fascinating history. There are guided walks for the local pub (about a 2 km walk from the Hut) which takes you all around the local area. We are ideally located a short distance away from major attractions in the area including the historic Market Town of Mold, the sandy beaches of Talacre, the famous mountain biking centre at Llandegla, the Welsh National Park of Snowdonia, the picturesque city of Chester that has a long Roman history, and an hour away from the major cultural cities Manchester and Liverpool. It is difficult to reach this property without your own transport and so that is recommended. There are bridleways and footpaths from the property into the Clwydian Moutains - perfect for walks, horse riding or mountain biking. Well-connected, 10 minutes from Mold. We do recommend that you bring your own car as the bus service is not as regular as in the town centres. A welcome hamper of foods include Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Bread, Welsh Butter, Welsh Cheese, Milk, a home baked cake or Scones is included in your stay. Packed lunches can also be supplied at extra cost - 24 hour notice. Payment needed when booking
