This faces a compact area to make a cuppa and watch TV. The gas heater is kept under the TV table and will keep the hut toasty warm. The double doors open to a lovely view, and the blinds will keep it dark if you fancy a lie in! Convenient separate room contains a portaloo Access to all campsite facilities including upper main toilets, lower field toilets, showers, picnic areas Parking is beside the Shepherd’s Hut Campsite manager available most of the time on site and easily contacted. The campsite is well placed - it’s close to the countryside as well as many local amenities. Petrol station, co-op, two pubs, the Potting shed hamlet, (that includes an excellent cafe, garden centre, and various shops) and a bakery. The train station which connects to Sheffield and Huddersfield is a 15 minute walk away. It’s easy to walk to the pubs, cafes and co-op. A car recommended for trips a little further afield, eg, Peak District, Cawthorne, Yorkshire Sculpture Park etc. Great rail and bus services within walking distance.
