Charming studio apartment located on the ground floor of a old building, built in the 1700. The flat was fully renovated in 2010 with fine finishes. It is the ideal for single, couple or family of four. Very bright and cozy , with an annexed patio that allows you to be in the open air enjoying your home simultaneously. It is equipped with a living room that has a queen sofa bed , and bedroom with queen size bed. In the modern kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for cooking the perfect meal. The bathroom is equipped with every comfort (toilet, bidet and shower). The whole flat is furnished and has independent heating, cable TV and internet wi-fi. The flat and patio is all yours to enjoy, there is also on location parking. Some of the most beautiful underground worlds of our planet lie below their roots. There are more than eight thousand karst caves and sinkholes in Slovenia, and twenty of these treasuries of limestone masterpieces created by disappearing karst rivers have been adapted and opened for tourists.In the cellars of the stone houses excellent wines are poured and sold, and in the attics excellent pršut is cured in the bora wind. This gourmets’ paradise is also a heaven for lovers of the beauties of the karst underworld. The Škocjan Caves, which are on UNESCO’s list of natural and cultural world heritage sites, boast the 1400-meter long and 150-meter deep underground canyon of the Reka River. In Slovenia, whose language contributed numerous terms to world karst studies, we also find the oldest tourist cave in Europe: Vilenica near Divača which offered guided tours in the first half of the 17th century. And this is far from being the last of the attractions of Slovenia’s karst region. Perhaps you didn’t know that the noble Lipizzaner horse originated in Slovenia. Lipica, where the stud farm was established in 1580, is today a popular tourist center with a riding school, hotels, a golf course, and a casino. The following places are all a short ways away from Sežana. Lipica, home of the Lipizzaner horses is about seven kilometers to the west (6 km) Postojna and its cave system is a short drive east on the A1 (35 km) The Slovenian coastal towns of Koper, Izola, Piran and Portorož are 50-60 minutes away by car heading west on the A1. Ljubljana is 80 km away (2 hours by train and bus). Trieste (Italy) is barely 17 km away (30 minutes by train and bus) and with frequent buses to the Slovenian and Croatian coast and boats to small towns on the Italian, Slovenian and Croatian coast it may be a good base for exploring the area. and new to the list is Porto piccolo near Sistiana Italy, with a beautiful new marina and beach ,only 25 km away. Venice is around 140 km away, Bologna 250 km ... Ronchi Airport is 30 km away, Ljubljana airport is 80 km away. Venice and Treviso Airport is 140 km away.
