Outdoor People in the Columbia River Gorge

My place is close to the Pacific Crest Trail, and countless other trailheads. If you are hiking the PCT, let me know and we can arrange a pick-up and drop-off date and time. I can even run you to one of the local markets for supplies. Boaters and kayakers and fishers have access to boat launches, rivers, lakes, and streams. Kayakers, let me know if you need a shuttle. Mountainbikers; Hood River is a huge destination spot for trail riders, and Post Canyon trailhead is 26 miles from the house. Private Room in residence home. The room is small, however it has a nice big bathroom. House is quiet and clean. Sorry no tv/cable options. Bring your device and use the wifi. *Room is located upstairs, Second floor.* *Kitchen use limited. I can provide coffee, and continental style breakfast, with adavance request.* House access is limited. Bird watchers and wildlife viewers, Hamilton Island and Pierce National Wildlife Refuge are great places to view local area raptors and other wildlife. Elk, Bears, Cougars are sighted often. Bring your binoculars! Check the weather forecast and plan accordingly!
