Apartment Fallnhauser - Adults only This cosy, lakeside studio-apartment for double occupancy offers every convenience to ensure a perfect holiday in all seasons. The charming house is conveniently located in the historic part of the village, situated above the lake side road, offering breathtaking views. But due to its location, the apartment is only accessible via stairs and therefore not suitable for a wheelchair! (44 steps) It is a non-smoking house. Pets are unfortunately not allowed. Traveling with little luggage is made easy here - the cozy studio apartment has everything you might need, even for a longer stay. A short, 5-minute walk from the center of the historic salt mining village, it is easy to feel at home in this privately-run holiday apartment, which, in addition to all the comforts, also offers a small outdoor area for breakfast in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening. Adjacent to the tiny, hidden patio, I have renovated a small balcony for you. When the weather gods play along, it’s a lovely place to enjoy a gorgeous view of the lake, to lean back and unwind, ... Free parking on-site! An absolute rarity in Hallstatt, as space is scarce and parking for non-locals not possible in the center. You will be parking on my property. But again, don't forget there are stairs to climb! So, travel light - everything you need is already in the apartment! Huge, heavy suitcases are not ideal. *!* Please note: in very snowy winters, parking on the property is not possible - unless you shovel the snow away by yourself! :-) Sorry, but I'm physically not able to do it any more. * Option 2: inside parking at extra costs at the park house "P1”. Check hallstatt net for info and prices. There is a multitude of offers and activities in and around Hallstatt, both in the sporting and cultural fields. Mountain tours, hikes and boat trips are available on the doorstep. In winter, the Krippenstein and the nearby Dachstein West ski area are excellent ski areas and ski tourers and snowshoe hikers will also find great conditions. Note: The skiing season starts December 24th. The cable car is not operating between November 1st and December 24th! An absolute "must" is of course the Hallstatt salt mine, the oldest mountain world in the world, which is still in operation today. Take a journey through 7,000 years in the Hallstatt World Heritage Museum. You will see that a few days are not enough to discover, explore, get to know and understand Hallstatt and everything it has to offer! From November to May it is quiet and relaxing in Hallstatt, the hustle and bustle of summer and thus the main tourist season is over. (Exceptions: Christmas and Easter holidays) Enjoy the impressive, overwhelming nature!
