Easy access to Newport, Bristol or Cardiff. Early check-in and/or late check-out is available for £ 10 by prior agreement. Suitable for those that require disabled access, offering ramped access from the outside and accessible wet-room. Although close enough to the M4 to be on your way to Bristol, Newport or Cardiff in 5 minutes, the Annex is situated on a rural lane giving access to bicycle routes across the Severnside plains to the edge of the River Severn. The Magor Marsh Wildlife Reserve is just 1.5 miles away and RSPB Newport Wetlands Nature Reserve is just 20 minutes away. The Annex is set up as an ideal space for a couple to spend a relaxing holiday. But as there is also the room to accommodate family groups comfortably for shorter breaks we have provided (in addition to the main double bed), a single bed in a separate room off the main double bedroom. We have included a floor plan in the listing to help you visualize how the space will best work for you and your group. We will clarify with you after you book exactly what is best for your group and will make arrangements accordingly. A small extra charge may be made for the extra laundry related to extra bedding but that can be handled through the AirBNB platform very simply. Outside there is a pleasant seating area for breakfast when the weather allows. Open the double doors from the sun lounge and listen to the calming sound of the babbling waterfall feeding the fish pond. Secure parking is on site. Parking for larger vehicles (such as horse boxes) is also available on site. A large secure double garage provides secure storage of bicycles as required. We live in the main house to which the Annex is attached and are available to assist at all times. If we should be out telephone access is available 24/7. Undy is a rural quiet rural village in Monmouthshire. It is close to the M4 and to mainline train services. It is perfect for those enjoying walking, cycling, horse riding (Broom Event Centre within 6 miles) and generally enjoying the South Wales coast and the events in Bristol and Cardiff. The bus stop is 150 yards away with hourly buses running to Chepstow in one direction and Newport in the other. The local railway station is one stop on the bus (1.5 miles) and gives access to services to Bristol, Newport, Cardiff and Cheltenham and beyond. The bathroom is level floored and the maximum effective width for access is about 66cm at the entrance way from the double bedroom. A wheeled shower chair is stored on the premises and is available on request. Secure storage for bikes is available on site.
