A character Edwardian semi detached house built in 1906 and set in semi rural surroundings in the quiet hamlet of Sutton Weaver in Cheshire 25 mins to Liverpool and Manchester airports. . I am half way between Lands end and John o Groats for those long distance bikers and hikers! All guests will be assured a warm welcome. 300 metres to bus stop and excellent motorway access less than 5 mins from the house. 20 minutes from the beautiful county town of Chester and 30 minutes from the major cities of Liverpool and Manchester that cater admirably for tourists ranging from numerous art galleries or nightclubs according to your tastes. The village of Frodsham is 5 minutes by car and has several interesting pubs and also Indian, Chinese and English restaurants and carryout catering establishments. There is a large supermarket is less than 15 minutes walk from my house. I have a large garage in which you can store your motorcycle or bicycle You will have full access to the bedroom. shower room , front lounge and garden. Should you want some private time then you can have exclusive use of the front lounge that has an open fire in winter. The house is centrally heated but I also use a wood burning stove in the rear lounge during winter. My house is well equipped with wall mounted grab handles, placed at strategic places, should your mobility be restricted. There are also additional bannister rails on the staircase. I will do my best to give any help that will enhance your stay in my house. Breakfast is basic and will be cereal with tea /coffee. Whilst there are tea and coffee making facilities in your room, you are most welcome to brew up at any time in the kitchen where tea and coffee is available. There is also a microwave available for guest use. Check in time is between 6pm or 10.30pm however, if you are arriving early or later than these times then please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.I may be out walking Mr. Ice so if you arrive early then a phone call before hand would be appreciated.. If you are travelling by train to either Runcorn main station or Runcorn East station then let me know before you travel and if I am free I I am quite willing to come and pick you up at no cost. Any problems, then please ask and I will do my best to answer them! Quiet semi rural setting with excellent motorway and rail links. Pub/restaurant half a mile away. Very large major retail park, called Cheshire Oaks for those that require retail therapy, about a twenty minute drive away whilst there is a local shopping complex a mile away in Runcorn There is a bus stop 200 metres from the house that is the route to Chester, Warrington and Runcorn. Excellent motorway access to M56 with both junctions 11 and 10 about a 5 min drive away and my house is 10 minutes from Junction 20 on the M56. The nearest train station is in either Frodsham or Runcorn. Bikers welcome. I have secure parking at the rear of the house and also brick garage should you arrive on a SS100 Brough Superior!. You are welcome to use my workshop facilities. I know some fabulous routes in Peak District and North Wales and am quite willing to show you round. I am a dog lover and have a beautiful yellow labrador called Mr. Ice. I have a strict no smoking rule for the house but you can smoke in the garden or in my garage where I will even provide you with a chair and an ashtray.
