The ground floor apartment has a private entrance transporting you into a open plan living / kitchen / dining area. Make yourself at home, relax on the sofa (which also converts to a sofa bed), watch tv and help yourself to free tea and fresh coffee. If you have to work make use of the free wifi, the living area has a large, tulip style table with comfortable chairs. The fully equipped modern kitchen provides you the opportunity to cook a meal, prepare a snack or you can order from a number of local, independent Lady Bay take aways. The bedroom is modern, warm and inviting with an extremely comfortable double bed with storage available for your belongings. The roomy bathroom leads off the bedroom and has WC, basin, bath as well as an over shower. Check out the prints which adorn the walls of the apartment. All prints are designed by our very own network of local artists that live in Lady Bay. Each year for one weekend Lady Bay artists open their doors to the community to exhibit and sell their work at the Lady Bay Art Trail. The whole apartment is exclusively available to guests. I am available to offer help to guests throughout their stay if required. Situated in the safe, leafy suburb of Lady Bay in West Bridgford this neighbourhood is family oriented and welcoming to all. Lady Bay serves its community with 2 pubs: The Lady Bay and The Poppy and Pint, it is also home to cafes, local shops, independent take aways, barbers and hairdressers. The apartment is a five minute walk to central West Bridgford which is host to a cafe culture of leading restaurants, bars and shops. A five minute walk from the apartment takes you to Trent Bridge cricket ground, Nottingham Forest City Ground and a walk over Lady Bay Bridge takes you to Notts County FC. Nottingham Rugby club is also in Lady Bay. Lady Bay is 1 mile from Nottingham city and train station providing easy access to the city by car or the local Lady Bay No 11 bus. The river Trent is on the doorstep with beautiful walks along the river with less than a minute to The Hook Nature Reserve, a ten minute walk to Holme Pierrepont Country Park and the National Watersports Centre. Lady Bay is an island sandwiched between the Grantham Canal and the River Trent providing exceptional walks show casing our amazing wildlife of swan families and herons.
