Private parking for 2 cars Quietly situated in an elevated position on the outskirts of Thornton-in-Craven, a stunning Yorkshire village just a few minutes from Skipton, Fernside Cottage offers luxurious accommodation with outstanding panoramic views over the surrounding countryside The cottage offers everything you will need for a wonderful relaxing holiday whether you wish to laze in the private garden or spend the day sightseeing. There is an excellent bus service in both directions within a few minutes walk from the cottage. A train station with parking within 10 min drive from cottage. Wonderful country & canal walks within walking distance of cottage. great cycling routes. The lounge and bedroom are at first floor level to take advantage of the stunning far-reaching views across open countryside. Furnished and decorated to a particularly high standard, the bedroom has a luxurious wooden bed with a deep 2000 spring mattress to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The kitchen and dining area on the ground floor have patio doors to a small enclosed paved area overlooking the valley, or for those who wish to eat al fresco there is an enclosed lawned garden and patio to the rear of the cottage. The private garden has an outdoor table and chairs and is ideal for lazy summer evenings. Should the weather turn against you there is a television in all rooms and free wi-fi access. Guests have the entire cottage to themselves. It has private entrance and a dedicated private parking space for 2 cars I am close by to give any information or help my guests may require but apart from that I respect my guests' privacy. I am next door if you need anything at all but your cottage and garden is entirely private and not overlooked. The cottage is not suitable for pets but I will occasionally take one short-haired quiet dog or 1 greyhound (if he/she can manage stairs) please contact me to discuss. Quiet peaceful neighbourhood with outstanding views. The village of Thornton in Craven has many beautiful countryside walks and access from the village to the Pennine Way. There are many country walks in all directions from the doorstep and towns within easy commuting distance. The next villages (1/2 mile and 2 miles) have many pubs, restaurants, chemists, petrol stations & supermarkets etc .
