LAUREL GLEN COTTAGE ~ WOLF CREEK

We invite you to visit Wolf Creek Farm, a private mountain retreat close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and only minutes from Mt. Airy, NC. Laurel Glen Cottage has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, family room with dining and kitchen facilities. The master bedroom has an en suite full bathroom. The "Bunk Room" has a single on top and double bed on bottom. The family room has a queen futon with very nice, thick mattress! In-ground pool in season, fishing lake (we have extra fishing rods and worms!) Leave behind the fast pace as you unwind and relax with nature. Sit on a covered porch and enjoy the rocking chairs in peace and tranquility. Lay in a hammock in the shade, take a hike through the meadows and woods, enjoy fishing in the stocked lake or swim in our private pool. Take a hayride, roast some marshmallows on a fire and enjoy the stars at night that go on forever. Experience an incredible place to connect with yourself or a loved one. Large TV in family room with tons of DVD's and VHS Movies; VHS player in master bedroom with VHS movies. No "real" TV since systems change. Many guests can access movies on their tablets and computers. Records with player, DVD and radio. Coffee, tea, popcorn, staples provided. Washer and Dryer with soap and dryer sheets; all linens provided. Our guests enjoy the complete privacy of Wolf Creek Farm where you only see woodlands, pastures, complete with fireflies and starlight at night! Hiking, fishing, and swimming make the working farm a special vacation retreat unlike any other. When you are at Laurel Glen, it is your home for the time you are here. If we see you on the porch when we drive by, we'll stop and say "howdy" and see if you need anything; otherwise, you are on your own! Innkeepers do live on the property, so we are close by if you need us. Our "neighborhood" consists of 105 acres of pure privacy. We are a working cattle farm, so you may be exposed to hay, tractors, trailers, and cows! You will not see any other houses when you are at Wolf Creek Farm. You will need a car or motorcycle to get around once you leave the grounds. Wonderful area for motorcycling and bike riding. Only minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mt. Airy, NC ("Mayberry" from the "Andy Griffith Show"). Lots of shopping, restaurants, museums, antique malls, parks close by.
