Cosy, luxury 2-bed golf villa (La Manga Club)

A cosy home away from home - fully renovated, and now one of the few Superhosts in La Manga Club - our Bungalow is perfect for golfers or families seeking a peaceful but active holiday. 2 ensuite twin/double beds (both convert to kingsize or twin). Brand new contemporary kitchen/bathrooms, TV/sitting room, open-plan dining area. Large patio perfect for al fresco dining (+BBQ) spilling onto a private, shady lawn & communal pool which backs onto the Championship golf course. Good Accessibility too Guests often size us up with La Manga's hotel nextdoor, but they choose us because we're a HOME, not a tiring hotel. If you're a group of 4, we're also much cheaper given the 2 bedrooms we have to offer. --------- Nadia | 8 July 2020 “I would like to express how responsive, professional and flexible Ben was during the entire booking process. He answered the many questions I had in a timely manner. He also showed a huge level of flexibility during the booking (which was done during the time of COVID-19). He adapted to our needs and helped in every way possible. Unfortunately we had to eventually cancel our reservation (due to other reasons and nothing to do with the property itself). Ben was again, very understanding and a full refund provided within a matter of days. I can not recommend Ben enough in terms of a host, at least during the initial booking steps. Many thanks Ben!” --------- Our views over the golf course to the mountains are beautiful, especially early morning when the mist is lifting and the green staff are humming quietly around. We're a lob wedge from the 1st tee of LMC's Championship Golf course, with 2 more on the doorstep. There is a year-round, hugely respected Tennis Academy, plus a wide range of children's sporting and performance programs during peak season/ holidays [tennis, golf, football, cricket, rugby and more]. My new personal favourite (having spent holidays at LMC since my teenage years!) is exploring the extensive trails of the clifftop natural park that encircles the resort; the views of the Med are stunning, and it's a great workout. Short drive to beaches/coves, horse riding, historic naval city of Cartagena, charming seaside town of Cabo de Palos and ample retail shopping at the expansive Espacio Mediterráneo. Lastly, once you arrive in Spain (Murcia's new Corvera Airport), we're just a 30 minute drive to LMC (70 minutes from Alicante Airport) at which point, it's feet up, grab a cava and relax time! We have an on-site management team but we can be contacted if required What we love: - the green-ness and the privacy of the bungalows - early morning watching the sunrise over the golf course - balmy evenings with a glass of Cava and fresh olives - Stunning sunset dining by the sea at LMC's La Cala restaurant [book early] - coffees and fresh fish at the new restaurants overlooking the gentrifying Portman beach - wide range of restaurants within 7 minute walk [Spanish, Japanese, Asian, Fusion] and we’ll stocked super-market - Early evening golf as the shadows lengthen - Running or mountain biking over the rugged coastal hills overlooking the sea The resort is a large private estate with security, and a car is advisable to get on and off the complex. A shuttle bus does run around the complex with a drop next-door at the stunning 5 star Principe Felipe hotel.
