Come and stay at our little welsh cottage annex
Beudy Bach means small cowshed, the old cottage was built around the late 1700 and still boasts the incredible walk in inglenook fireplace with its 8ft original oak beam. The Annex or Beudy Bach was the original cowshed where the owner kept his priceless cow, who in turn supplied the family with milk. The old cottage and annex still has the original 2ft granit stone walls. We are located approx 4 miles south from the Royal town of Caernarfon, and a 30 minute drive will take you on to The Isle of Anglesey, and in the opposite direction to Pwllheli and the Lleyn Peninsula. We are also a stone throw away from the famous mountain itself Mount Snowdon. There is a narrow gauge steam train on our doorstep and if your hobby is plane watching then we are central to RAF Valley, The Mach Loop and right in front is the small Caernarfon airfield which lies alongside a blue flag status beach. There is a small lawned area outside the front door where you can sit and watch the sun go down. Hi, this is our home and whilst you are staying here in Beudy Bach we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about our home, the surrounding area, activities and places to visit, eating and drinking establishments, Wales and its fantastic language, we love sitting outside watching the sun setting down by the beach with a chilled glass of wine . So please feel free to come and talk to us and we will share our love of this place right from the mountains to the sea. The peace and tranquility, the pure friendliness of the area and the stunning views and fantastic sunsets. The only drawback to this tranquil location is you do need a car to get around. There is public transport but not always reliable, bikes are excellent option with easy access to the old railway line where you can travel for miles between Bangor and Criccieth as well as the numerous cycle routes in the area The main aim for you when staying here is to relax and unwind totally. Go for walks along the country lanes or along the nature trail for which there are many . Explore the hidden gems around us, throw yourself in to the welsh folklore and culture, but most of all happiness and make new friends.
