JUST FOR FAMILIES: A relaxing family holiday with young children is possible ! Our 'Pavillon' Villa is part of the Les Vallaies child friendly gites property. With it's huge private garden you have the privacy and peace to enjoy a relaxing break in the heart of the rural French countryside together and with the ADDED BONUS of having full access to the Heated swimming pool, games barn AND enclosed childrens play garden so your kids will be entertained meaning you can RELAX even more ! Pavillon family holiday villa sleeps 6 in three bedrooms . It has a spacious open plan with living and dining areas and for those who enjoy cooking up local french dishes such as moules in cream sauce - it has a very spacious kitchen area with lots of work space and cupboards for storing all those goodies purchased at the market. The kitchen is equipped with 4 ring gas hob, work top electric oven /grill (big enough for a full roast dinner), sink, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher and all the basic pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. It is light and airy with windows all around. wooden cot, high chair, booster seat, change mat, toys and books, potty and toilet seat , plastic crockery and cutlery, toddler step an hand blender are standard items in all the cottages. You have the whole house, private garden and off road parking exclusively for your use. You will share the play garden, games barn and swimming pool. Chris and Wendy, your hosts, live 2km away. We will greet you on your arrival and visit each day to tend the pool and gardens. We are happy to chat about places to go, things to do and recommend a restaurant. We will make an appointment for the Dr if your child is poorly, unblock the sink or lend you a cup of sugar and we are available 24/7 for emergencies so you can really relax. But we are not intrusive - we are there if you want us. We are located in the heart of the French countryside - this is the real France ! It's rural and quiet, you can walk for miles and not see a sole - that's why we love it and why we've called it home for over 24 years. However we are also perfectly located for seeing the sights - within an hours drive you can be in the vineyards of Bordeaux, the port of La Rochelle, the beaches of Royan, the Roman history of Saintes and the distillerys of Cognac. We are located on the edge of a rural village with no facilities - a car is essential to make the most of this beautiful region and to get to the shops, bars and restaurants . We welcome families with young and older children on site. If you are an adult only group please message us first as we have a property suitable nearby. We only accept family groups. Families with older children must also appreciate we are a family friendly site where families with children come first, there maybe crying babies and squealing toddlers running around! Please ask if you are unsure as to our suitability for your group. We are also a NO SMOKING property which means you cannot smoke anywhere on the property including the play garden and pool or even your terrace - you must leave the property to smoke.
