Detached single family house with huge garden, barbecue area and playground. Perfect for 2 families or small Groups with children of ANY age! Parking for boat trailers, 20m from the Rhine shore (Direct access via a trail to the water). Very spacious rooms, very central location (Old Town, Rhine, nature reserve, skate park, Werd Island, Hohenklingen Castle)Central to many popular destinations: Schaffhausen- Munot-Rheinfall, Winterthur, Konstanz-Singen-Hohentwiel DE, Allensbach Zoo). The property was built by our father, grandfather and great-grandfather himself and we would like to keep the house in the family and allow as many families as possible an unforgettable vacation in Stein am Rhein. In 2020 we renovated the interior with a lot of heart and soul. The view of the Rhine from the living room and from the balcony is fantastic. The 4 bedrooms are very spacious and practically furnished.There is the possibility to put a baby travel crib or also a crib in the rooms (various variants possible) The kitchen is also large enough for 8 people to eat at the dining table. There are 2 children's high chairs available. In addition, there are plenty of large and small pots, more than enough dishes and pans, as well as stove with oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fondue dishes, racelette oven and microwave. The refrigerator has a separate freezer compartment. In the spacious living room 8 people can sit on the sofas, read or watch TV and at the same time there is also the possibility to play board games, work on the computer or draw at the table. Of course there is a cupboard with board games, drawing articles and many, many books for children, teenagers and adults.There are plenty of toys: Lego, Duplo, etc. In the basement there is a washing machine and a drying room. There you can also clean and dry your dirty gumboots after a walk in the nature reserve. Gumboots for children and adults, as well as umbrellas are available. The property includes a granny flat that ist permanent rented and huge barn with workshop (not for shared use). There is a lockable bicycle garage. A running bike, a ladies bike and 2 mountain bikes are available (if needed, possibly more bikes can be organized). A boat trailer could also be parked on the property. In the garden there is a garden table, chairs, a fireplace with grill and a shed with wood. We run Airbnb as a family: there is always a contact person available. Either it's myself or it's my parents, siblings, my aunt or my cousins. We all live in the region and are fast on the spot in case of problems. On the south side, towards the Rhine, there is a neighboring street, which is also used by the neighboring children as a playground, for inline skating, playing football, street chalk painting, etc.. This street also leads directly to the nature reserve (2 min walk) and to the skate park. A bus stop with connection to the train station Stein am Rhein is located 30m from the house. 100m from the house is the public lido (Rhine), where in summer there is also a bistro. The house is located directly on a bicycle path. This is easily passable even with very small children. You can make a small bike tour along the Rhine, over the Hemishofer bridge (wonderful view!). The bicycle tour from the house over the bridge and then on the other side of the Rhine back up to Stein am Rhein and back to the house can be done in an hour with small children. In Wagenhausen, the mini-golf course invites you to a stopover with action. The historic town of Stein am Rhein and the island of Werd are only a few minutes' walk away. The castle Hohenklingen invites for an extensive walk. There is a restaurant at the castle and you can visit the interiors. In case of bad weather there are museums (Klostermuseum, Lindwurm, Krippenmuseum, Naturmuseum in Frauenfeld), castles and palaces (Napoleonmuseum Arenenberg, Burg Hohenklingen) nearby to visit. There is also an indoor playground directly in Stein am Rhein (TICILAND) and by train to Winterthur (45min) you can visit the Swiss Science Center ***Technorama***, which is popular with young and old! Constance also offers bad weather activities like museums, SeaLife or shopping. In front of the SeaLife there is a stone hill where children can climb around and find FOSSILIES! The zoo in Allensbach, the Affenberg, the island of Mainau, the ruins of Hohentwiel, the pile-dwelling village in Unteruhldingen, the Rhine Falls in Neuhausen, the lakes of Nussbaum and Hüttwil, the ruins of Neuburg, the Randen area, the miniature golf course in Wagenhausen are all popular destinations that provide variety during the vacations.
