Two-roomed apartment in Maratea Marina

The apartment is provided with every comfort: bathroom with hairdrier, roomy shower and washing machine, air conditioning and heating system, two terraces, safe, TV, essential flatware. If young children or babies are travelling with you, you can also ask for a cradle and a high chair. The apartment is located at the first floor of the house and has its own independent entrance. The house has an internal parking place available for guests. I am available to answer any question or to satisfy any curiosity, preferably via email in working hours but also on the phone during the evenings. If you have any specific request or need, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to help...being also glad to suggest you the best itineraries for beaches, restaurants and places of interest in the whole Region. Maratea, my home town, it’s a magic place, capable to melt the beauty of uncontaminated nature and sea together with the charm of its history and his historical village. It doesn’t matter if you’ll choose to relax, to enjoy local cuisine or to play sports: this place will return you as a gift an unforgettable holiday. Marina di Maratea is located on the coast, 6 km south of Maratea city center. You can easily cover this distance by car, motorcycle or by bike. The city center is anyway well linked to each fraction and to the main beaches through buses, whose passages are more frequent from May to September. Marina di Maratea can also be easily reached by regional train: the train station is around 1 km far from the apartment. If you like unique places and ancient traditions, still enchanted by the local cuisine and backcountry products, in less than two hours you’ll be in Matera, with its moony landscapes and “Calanchi”, or you can visit wine farms and Vulture Castles together with the small “Dolomiti Lucane”. When you’ll be fully relaxed and satisfied with beach chill out in one of the wonderful bays distributed along the 32 km of Maratea coast, I suggest you explore its amazing depths and enjoy the awesomeness of a sunset boat trip. During the evenings, just explore the narrow streets of the city center, taste incredible food and wine…and feel the magic atmosphere of Maratea. Sport lovers will enjoy unlimited possibilities both on the coast and in the Pollino National Park, very close to Maratea: hiking, trekking, kayaking, cycling, rafting and paragliding are just some of the opportunities you’ll have.
