Old Presbytery for 12-15 guests in Corrèze

This authentic accommodation in the heart of a pretty village in Corrèze, nestled on the top of the Dordogne gorges, offers a relaxing and friendly stay for a peaceful holiday with friends or family. Brocante spirit and 100% nature guaranteed! The house is an old presbytery that we have renovated in a brocante spirit and easy to live in. Here everything is made for relaxation and disconnection (no wifi, but 4G) in every respect. It is located in the centre of the village and has a very large garden divided by a pretty dry stone wall. Its large wooden terrace furnished with tables, benches, armchairs and parasol will welcome large convivial tables. On the ground floor, separated by a vast stone staircase, the living room and the dining room on either side. In the living room, 2 large comfortable sofas, armchairs, games, TV screen for DVD. We like to meet there for big flambées in the big fireplace "cantou" in winter or to look for the coolness in summer. In the dining room, a large farm table for 12 guests opens onto the modern and fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, worktops, filter and Nespresso coffee machines). In the corridor, a storeroom houses the water heater and the washing machine. Next is the "souillarde", where groceries and drinks are stored, the coolest room in the house. Finally, there is the cellar where there is another fridge. The cellar opens onto the large wooden terrace. On the first floor, bedroom 1: "La Essaouira" overlooks the garden (queen size bed 160x200). Bedroom 2 : "L'Angélus" overlooks the church (bed 140x200 and possibility to install an umbrella bed). It is a large family room. Bedroom 3: "La Petiote" also overlooks the garden (bed 140x200). Bedroom 4: "The in-between bedroom" is a night space. It is ideal for teenagers or children who are just passing through (2 x beds 70x190). Bedroom 5: "La Monumentale" or the dormitory has a private bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin). It is also ideal for teenagers and children or 1 couple + 2-4 children (6 x beds 70x190), it is a modular bedroom. A TV screen is available to connect a DVD player or game console. At the top of the stairs, the main shower room with shower, toilet, washbasin and towel heater. We advise to bring your own set of linen, bath towels and napkins. However, you are allowed to use the available linen if it is washed and put back in place before the departure inventory. THE LEAVING CLEANING IS AT THE CHARGE OF THE GUESTS (please return the house in the same state of cleanliness as you found it when you arrived :). Parking in the courtyard or on the church square is possible, free of charge. We like to leave the courtyard and garden free of cars, so we park around the church :)
