Welcome to our lovely 4 bedroomed family home in Bethesda. This is a spacious cottage, with a big garden in an amazing part of the world. We are close to ZipWorld, the mountains of Snowdonia, the beaches of Anglesey and much more. This is an area renowned for natural beauty and outdoor pursuits and it's all on the (Website hidden by Airbnb) well as being 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village, with local shops, pubs, a great music venue and takeaways.. Perfect for a large family or groups. This is an old quarryman's cottage, extended at the back and side with a large garden and veranda, surrounded by fields and beautiful sunset views. We have plenty of space, a large living room, 4 bedrooms (3 double, 1 with bunk beds), 2 bathrooms and a 'rustic' garden room. There is enough off road parking for 3-4 vehicles and we are close to local amenities/cycle track. There is Wifi, a television, DVD player, well equipped kitchen and everything you could need for comfortable stay. Also available are a travel cot, high chair, additional single mattress and plenty of floor space. We will be staying relatively locally and guests can contact us but won't be available instantly. We love Bethesda. Apart from being nestled in the spectacular Dyffryn Ogwen (Ogwen Valley), between the Carneddi and Glyderau mountain ranges, it has a strong sense of community, a rich history and a disproportionate amount of great music and art for a small place. Neuadd Ogwen (the 'village hall') is host to some outstanding acts, films and other events. This area is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoor life and has many great attractions - Zip World, Bounce Below, The Greenwood Centre, the list goes on... There are Pubs, Takeaways, cafes, a Tesco Express and Londis, and a whole food co-op. There is a good bus service to Bangor and this is a great base for exploring Eryri (Snowdonia) and Ynys Mon (Anglesey) There is a footpath directly opposite the house that takes you up to Moel Faban and on to the Carneddau. There is a bus stop outside our house that goes to Bangor regularly. We are 10 minutes drive from the A55 and 2 minutes from the A5. We are 15 minites from Bangor and 20 from Llanberis, Betws Y Coed, Menai Bridge and Caernarfon. Bangor is a university town with all amenities, a train station and a Victorian Pier.
