Carnwath Mill Farmhouse Holiday Let

Carnwath Mill Farmhouse is situated in a quiet rural hamlet, about 1 mile outside Carnwath. The Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century so has a few imperfections and quirkiness. The accommodation which is attached to the main house has a lounge/dining room, kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, 1 with en-suite bathroom. The accommodation sleeps up to 6 people Please note there is an additional charge of between £10 and £15 per person ( depending on season) per night for 3 or more guests The property is centrally located to allow travellers to explore the central belt of Scotland. The bedrooms are up rather steep stairs so not suitable for somebody with a physical disability. You have access to the whole of the accommodation as well as a large enclosed garden. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Carnwath Mill Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and although modernised we have tried to keep the character. So you may find some sloping floors and a few imperfections, but our guests seem to like the quirkiness. The owners live in the house next door so are available if required. However they very much much value their guests privacy The Farmhouse is situated in a rural hamlet with a further 3 houses. There are far reaching views and lovely walks and wildlife to see. There is no public transport from the accommodation, but you can access buses in Carnwath which is about a mile away and Carstairs train station is around 3 miles away where you can get trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is free wifi and oil central heating. There is no public transport available from the accommodation. Please note if you wish to bring a dog please discuss with the owners as there are cats and poultry free ranging.
