The Cider Barn - a perfect place for two

Many years ago, this barn was used to press the apples from the farm's orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two, peacefully situated on our family-run organic dairy farm. Sitting high above the Culm Valley it has stunning views of our farm and the surrounding countryside and is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful north & south coast, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks. The ground floor comprises of an open-plan lounge/dining area has a sofa, armchair, flat-screen television and DVD player with a selection of DVD’s. A woodburning stove with logs supplied free of charge & central heating will keep you snug on those wintry evenings. French windows lead to a secluded garden. The well-equipped fitted kitchen area has an electric oven hob, fridge, washer-dryer and microwave. The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and has a bath with power shower, wash-basin, toilet and airing cupboard. Upstairs tucked away beneath the beams you will find a galleried bedroom area with a double bed and organic bed linen & towels. The perfect hideaway for two. Parking is beside the cottage. As well as having its' own secluded garden, The Cider Barn is surrounded by our farmland where you will be most welcome to explore. I live on site and am very happy to advise guests on walks, places to visit, eat etc and helping guests get the best from their stay. Our organic farm is situated 1 mile between the towns Bradninch & Cullompton. It is in a very peaceful location surrounded by fields and overlooking the beautiful Devon countryside. We are in the perfect place for visiting both Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks & the stunning world heritage Jurassic coastline. They are all within an hours drive. Our nearest sandy beach at Exmouth is only 40 minutes away.
