Holiday home, dog friendly, handy for beaches

Our holiday home is set within a luxury holiday park, set in 20 acres of gently sloping parkland in the Pentewan Valley, near St. Austell, Cornwall. Bring your family and friends to stay throughout the year, whenever, and as often as, you like. Sun Valley Resort is the perfect base to explore the best of Cornwall. Ideally located in the middle of the south coast and our proximity to the Cornish coastline means that you are never far away from a beautiful beach or scenic coastal path. Always considered to us as ‘our happy place’, a little bolt hole to get away from the stresses and strains of work and everyday life - helping us to get the balance right! There’s a wide range of facilities on site which include Rebellion Roast House and Moonshine Bar, heated indoor swimming pool, laundry room, recycling and waste facilities. There are also tennis courts, table tennis and a playground for our younger guests. Outside private decking area with comfy seating, and secure locking gate for the safety of children and pets. Locked unit on decking with various outdoor games such as swingball, badminton, volley ball and a child’s swimming pool on those days that you fancy having a relax and chill. We live in Gloucestershire so will not normally be on hand when you arrive but we do have family in the area so we may occasionally be around but would always let you know at the time of booking if you’d like to meet up. I will always be available by phone or email if you need to check anything or have any problems. Our location makes it a perfect base to explore the best of Cornwall, and you are never far from a beautiful beach or scenic coastal path. Pentewan Beach is within walking distance and we are just a short drive, or bus ride from the pretty 14th century fishing village of Mevagissey. Close by is also the picturesque harbour of Charlestown, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan to name just a few. We have free parking on site - please consider other guest access with parking correctly inside the marked spaces. Just a short river walk away you will find The Ship Inn pub and the bar/restaurant Into The Woods, both of which have parking facilities if you choose to drive. Please note, these can be limited during busy peak times. There is also a regular bus service which stops, (in both directions) right outside the front gates of the site. In addition we have a selection of maps/leaflets in the property which will direct you to key attractions, restaurants, walks etc. Access to our home is by key locked in a wall safe for which you will receive the code shortly before you arrive .
